    Pollution Awareness March - Say No to Fire crackers

    This Diwali our students participitated in a noble on road campaign. They went public to raise awareness among people about saving the planet earth by celebrating Diwali without fire-crackers and keeping it pollution free. Students of class VIII - X including boys and girls joined the on road march in Patna. Slogans were raised and banners were carried to convey the message.

    On this festive season of Diwali, Students participated in Rangoli, Diya and House Making competition. We witnessed some great art of creativity. Students of Montessory - Class II prticipated in Diya making, Class III - V partcipated in designing a House model and VI - VIII added colors to it by designing beautiful Rangoli.

    Tigers Day - Inter-School Drawing Competition at Zoo

    July 29 is celeberated worldwide as Tiger Day. The goal of Tiger Day is to promote the protection and expansion of the tigers habitats and to gain support through awareness for tiger conservation. Our students participated in this cause by joining an inter-School Drawing competition was organised by Patna Zoological Garden.

    Kids celebrate Hindi Diwas - Kavi Sammelan

    Hindi Diwas on Sep 19 was celebrated by organizing Kavi Sammelan for students and teachers. The ceremony was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Pushkar Anand, Supritendant of Police, BMP5 Patna. The students or we would rather say the young poets of our school won hearts of the audience with their beautiful shayri.

    "Mangolicious Day" - Season of mangoes have come and our Montessory Kids demonstrated their true love for mangoes. The kids wore mango shaped drsses to show how much their admire the season og mangoes. Students also tasted different kinds of mangoes arranged by the institution at the event.

    Students from Mont 1 to class X participated in a week long English festival. English drama, song, debate, speech, story board contests, books exhibition, treasure hunt, english movies etc. are some of the highlights of this event. The entire campus looked like a stage from a Shakespeare play. This represented how important English is today.

    Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which day events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Environmental issues were discussed among the students by our teachers. A poster-making competition was organised for the students of Classes VI-X

    Population Awareness March - Students went public

    World Population Day, observed on July 11, which seeks to raise awareness of global population issues. Class VIII-X students went on road to demonstrate the issue to general public. This march was conducted to raise awareess about growing population issues. Posters with messages on how to control the population were carried.

    Vigilance Awareness Week - Elocution Competition

    Oriental Bank of Commerce observed the vigilance awareness week in our school campus on October 31 with an attempt to promote probity, transparency and good governance. An Elocution competition was organised for the students of IX and X. The theme of the week was 'preventive vigilance as a tool of good governance'.

    Grandparent's Day Celebrated by junior wing students

    The day gives students a chance to show their love to their grandparents. A fancy dress competition was organised for the students of Montessory to Class I. Students dressed like grandparents walked the ramp. They also spoke on how important it is to respect and love our elders especially our grandparents.

    Winners of 'Connections' Intra-School Quiz

    Our quarterly published newsletter 'Connections' is a ray of knowledge and important informtaion related to latest news and events from our school. Every edition has a Quiz-Whiz section for the students. In a lucky draw three winners are selected. Students of classes II, VII and IX won the first three prizes.

    World Veterinary Day observed in Zoological Park

    World Veterinarian Day was created in 2000 by the World Veterinary Association to highlight and promote the lifesaving work performed by veterinarians around the globe. Students from classes III - X partcipated in an inter-school drawing competition held at Patna Zoo. A student of class VII secured first rank from our school in Patna.

    Students participating in Independence Day on 15th Aug

    The Celebration Ceremony of 69th Independence Day of India Flag Hoisting by the principal MS. Rajni Sing on 15th Aug 2015. Students sang national anthem and deliverer speeches on Independant India. Sweets and Tricolor caps were distributed to all the students. Students felt proud and raised slogans of Jai Hind.

    Inter-House Drawing Competition

    An inter-house drawing competiton was conducted by the school's arts and culture club for the students of Class I - VIII. Students were asked to follow their heart and work on an independant idea. It was an open theme and the students drew it on a canvas. Creativity blends with foresigntedness and our students proved it to us.

    Nafees Haider felicitated with Student of the year title in recognition for Regularity, Discipline, Scoring highest percentage in SA2 and winning an academic and a non-academic event. He is awarded a gold coated plate, certificate of achievement, a student of the year badge and a cash prize of Rs.1000

    Save Electricity Awareness Workshop by Dainik Jagran

    A workshop on Save Electricity Awareness was conducted by iNext and Dainik Jagran for our students in our school. The workshop focussed merely on Saving Electricity. The students of S.Raza High School participated in this awareness program and contributed their views. They learnt how important it is to consume electricity.

    School Calendar Launched

    We are pleased to announce the launch of our school calendar which has important dates of events, exams and list of holidays for the session 2015-2016 . This iniatiative was taken to help students plan their exmas, tests, workshops and also list of holidays in advance. It benefits the students to understand the value of time and how to be a good planner. It helps parents and students manage and prepare events and important dates in advance.

    Formation of Cabinet - Oath taking ceremony

    School's cabinet formation is an initiative to help children understand leadership and management qualities and empower fear. SRHS cabinet falls under six categories. Red House for discipline, Green house for English speaking and activity, Yellow house for academic syllabus, Blue house for event co-ordination. Head boy and Head girl empower all the houses.

    We aim to give our children a wide breadth of experience in all areas of school which will contribute to a child's development. We took students to Agro Expo, which helped them understand latest agricultural technologies. Botanical garden, Museum and Eco-park are other places where the student went.

  • Annual Day SRHS

    Annual Day Celebration - 30 years of SRHS

    On completion of 30 years of education, S.Raza High School celebrated its Annual Day on BMP-5 playground. The day witnessed some great performances by the students of SRHS. We also felicitated the students who have excelled in academics, cultural and sports. Chairman Khalid Raza and Director Sabiha Perween inaugrated the event. Chief guests Dr. Sarika Roy and Dr. Amulaya honored the event with their presence. Students performed on songs, dance, and an English play. SRHS Sports Club students demonstrated their skills of karate at the event.
